PHONE / CABLING PROJECT ASSUMPTIONS &
NOTICES:
1) Any additional
wiring or cabling not already specified, will be handled
as needed, at our regular time/materials rates
(per pull – standard wiring environment:
commercial suspended ceiling 10' max height, no
solid walls, no floor-to-floor pulls, and no
cable channeling or wire covers other than
standard wire clips, as needed. Non-standard
environments that do not meet these conditions
will be quoted upon review of job-site);
2) A 'quick reference
guide' for the phone system will be provided at
no cost; additional phone system training is
available at our regular hourly rates if the
overview is not sufficient;
3) Phone 'Service' and
the Phone 'System' are separate terms. Call
connections and calling plans outside of the
private branch exchange (PBX) are provided by
your respective telephone carrier 'service' –
not ExecuTek; your phone 'system' is under
warranty as published from the manufacturer/supplier –
not under warranty from ExecuTek, unless an
optional maintenance plan is signed by both
client and ExecuTek (separate
document);
4) ExecuTek may assist
with the transition of phone service and/or Internet
service, as requested; however, your carrier is
ultimately responsible to disable and enable
service as directed – ExecuTek assumes no risk
for telephone/Internet service; futhermore, ExecuTek is not
responsible for fees charged by carrier under
any circumstances (including 'inside wiring'
disputes from carrier); ExecuTek will use
industry-standard tools to test and verify
lines/wires are working properly - results from
on-site testing equipment will determine the
final outcome of any dispute between carrier and
ExecuTek; ExecuTek does not absorb any costs for carrier issues (Verizon,
AT&T, Sprint, etc.);
5) After hours work
(after 5PM Mon-Fri and Weekends/Holidays
automatically are assessed at the premium rate
unless specifically noted and/or negotiated in
advance);
6) The job location must
have adequate electrical power and
phone/Internet service to be fully tested - an
additional site visit may be required (at
additional cost)
if power or service is not active at the time of
installation;
7) Any work requested
not specifically outlined in estimate can be
additionally performed at then current time and
materials rates;
8) A UPS
(Uninterruptible Power Supply) is recommended
for all communications equipment and is not
included unless specifically itemized, a UPS can be added after installation
from many major retail stores or ExecuTek can
furnish one, at cost;
9) Phone Line surge
protection (eg from telephone company outside
connections) and additional protection for
digital phones connected to external buildings
with underground/overhead cabling should have
appropriate devices added and are not included
unless specifically designated; line protection
can be added during or after installation, as
desired, at cost.
10) Underground
cabling that encounters obstruction or rock will
require an additional estimate and all amounts
remain due up until dig obstruction.
